Is it possible for the Heart to transcend expected places?

Kenyon G. asked:Is it possible that the heart of a story is large enough, or compelling enough that it can overcome an expected place? For instance, could a truly unique heart (perhaps a unique school teacher) overcome the expected place (just a "normal" school)? To what lengths should we go to make even expected places "unexpected" despite the uniqueness or complexity of the heart?

Remember that Desire will connect us more than anything else. A teacher passionate about something in a regular classroom is far better than a passionless teacher who is in a fantastic and different class room. Also realize that the four layers of Place matter here too. A regular classroom in terms of ‘environment’ can feel completely unexpected and novel if you’re there at 3am with a teacher who is brainstorming a new curriculum she can’t wait to try with her next class.
